Description:
Ebase Technology is the UK developer and supplier of Ebase Xi, a successful and innovative software application development platform. We are seeking to expand our sales activities and require two highly capable and experienced business development managers.

Successful candidates will be able to demonstrate the following:

• An extensive and possibly technical knowledge of the modern software landscape and its application to business, with particular knowledge of development software, tools and market trends, e.g. SOA, EAI, Electronic Forms, BPM, open source, Web 2, CRM, ERP, ETL, CMS, etc.

• A track record of working with both local and national government sectors, including experience of tendering and procurement processes
  

• The ability to construct and execute complex and multi-level solution sales
  

• Awareness of contractual and legal requirements
  

• First class written, spoken and presentational skills
  

• The ability to develop and maintain relationships at all levels in a customer or partner organisation
  

• Strong bid and project management experience with the ability to motivate and lead multi-functional teams

• The ability to develop and assimilate complex financial models
  

• The strategic and tactical thinking and networking needed to stimulate new business
  

• Early identification of business and corporate risks
  

• That they are comfortable working on larger opportunities with potentially complex commercial and financial structures
  

• The ability to qualify and prioritise opportunities
  

• An organised, serious and credible business profile
  

• A strong degree of self-motivation, drive, tenacity and the determination to succeed

• A deep insight into online software marketing strategies, e.g. SEO, Adwords and equivalent, the role of Blogs, Social Networks, Technical Forms, Development Communities, White Papers, contextual advertising, etc.

• A strong analytical ability, particularly in the interpretation of software procurement via the Internet how these processes may be translated into an effective online marketing strategy

• First class written, spoken and presentational skills including the ability to create multi-level marketing collateral, i.e. product sheets, commercial and technical positioning collateral, case studies, etc.

• Experience of multi-media online marketing, e.g. creating videos, webinars, WEBEX events, etc.

• Experience of conventional marketing, e.g. organizing and attending exhibitions, seminars, email and lead generation campaigns, etc.

• The ability to manage complex projects and to lead and motivate multi-functional delivery teams

• An organised, serious and credible business profile

• A strong degree of self-motivation, drive, tenacity and the determination to succeed
