From the M11
Leave the Motorway at junction 12 - Cambridge & Sandy exit.
Head in the 'Sandy' direction, keep heading straight.
At the roundabout take the second exit (going straight on)
At the sign for Croydon, Hatley & Gamlingay, turn right and follow the road for 3 miles.
Go through East Hatley. The next village is Hatley St. George.
St. George’s Tower is on the right and is signposted from the main road.
From the A1(M) (Coming from the South/London)
Follow the road past signs to Hatfield, Hitchin, Stevenage. Eventually the motorway ends and becomes the A1. Continue until the roundabout.
Take the second exit off the roundabout for Biggleswade.
Go straight at the next roundabout and then right at the next roundabout, following signs to Dunton.
At the next roundabout turn right, still following Dunton signs.
Then stay on the road for approx. 10 miles, going through Dunton, Eyeworth, Tadlow.
At the sign for Croydon, Hatley & Gamlingay, turn left and follow the road for 3 miles.
Go through East Hatley. The next village is Hatley St. George. St. George’s Tower is on the right, and is signposted from the main road
From the A1(M) (Coming from the North/Peterborough)
Follow signs to Sandy. At the roundabout, take the first exit to 'Sandy & Town Centre'
At the next roundabout, take the last exit, turning right and driving though the town centre, staying on the main road.
Follow the main road out of the town and continue to go straight, following signs to Potton.
Go over the two mini roundabouts in Potton, and continue to head straight all the time, keeping on the same road as it winds through Potton centre. Follow signs to Gamlingay.
The road changes to a country lane and after a mile, the speed limit is restricted to 40mph. Go over the small bridge and you will see a fork in the road, just before entering Gamlingay. Take the right hand turning.
Head straight until you see the cemetery on your right and a right turn signposted to Croydon, & Hatley. Turn right, and head straight for approx 2 miles until you reach Hatley St. George.
St. George’s Tower is on your left as you enter the village. It is signposted from the main road.
